Bedford County, Va., on or about 10 March, 1774.

1. William Alexander, born 7 September, 1776, died 12 September, 1800, murdered.

2. Esther Alexander, born 18 July, 1778, died 1840 married Micajah Moorman.

3. Sally Alexander, born 18 October, 1779, died March 1861, married Nathaniel I.
Manson.

4. John Alexander, born 25 January, 1782, died 15 August, 1838, married Miss
Sarah L. Cobbs.

5. Nancy Alexander, born 8 May, 1784, died 15 November, 1864, married Adam
Clement.

6. Elizabeth Alexander, born 16 February, 1787, died 10 July, 1833, married Dr.
John T. W. Reed.

7. Charlotte Alexander, born 15 January, 1790, died 8 February, 1809, died
unmarried.

8. Mary Glenn Alexander, born 3 October, 1793 married William G. Pendleton.

9. Catharine W. Alexander, born 17 January, 1796, died 26 July, 1838, married
Dr. Nathaniel W. Payne.

10. Susan D. Alexander, born 22 January, 1799, died 14 February, 1882, married
Dr.’ Robert Walter Withers.

on or about 5 December, 1809.

1. Sarah Ann Alexander, married Dr. Thomas H. Nelson.
