COBB: – Howell Cobb married Martha J. Rootes, in Fredericksburg, Va., 8 May, 1810: Colonel John Cobb married Mildred, daughter of Howell Lewis, of Granville North Carolina, and had two sons, Howell Lewis Cobb and John Addison Cobb. Howell Lewis Cobb was a member of Congress from Georgia. He married Mary Ann Lamar. John Rootes Cobb had a son Howell Cobb.
